Family, friends and neighbors of Henry Mangel will hold a benefit at the St. Meinrad Community Center on Saturday, July 16, 2022. The benefit is to assist Henry’s family with medical costs. Henry, 35, son of Ron and Star Scherzer of St. Meinrad, Indiana, and the late Don Mangel, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in 2021. In anticipation of the St. Boniface Parish Annual Summer Picnic on Sunday, August 7, 2022, St. Boniface Parish will host its annual quilt show Sunday, July 17. The show at Historic St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fulda will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Parishioners, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to stop by the parish church to vote for the parishioner's choice quilts to be featured in the special quilt raffle for this year's annual picnic.
