Let us help you support a child to grow in faith and love for the Catholic Church! St. Boniface Parish and St. Meinrad Parish offer partial scholarships to parish youth who need financial assistance. We believe in giving every child an opportunity to engage in a variety of family faith formation, service, and outreach programs, which will help students discover how Catholic leadership values can transform the way they lead at school, in their parish, and in their community.
Throughout the year, an envelope to support youth program scholarships for F3 (Family Faith Formation) and Service and Outreach Immersion Programs is included in the monthly envelope packet, including envelopes for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
Programs for youth include the parish-based Totus Tuus at St. Boniface Parish Center; CYO camps at Camp Rancho Framasa in Nashville, IN, and Gaspar River near Bowling Green, KY, in the Diocese of Owensboro; and youth liturgical conferences for high school students, including Notre Dame VISION, "One Bread, One Cup" at Saint Meinrad Archabbey, and Steubenville conferences in Ohio; the National Catholic Youth Conference, and National Eucharistic Congress.
Please make sure your check is made payable to the parish church, clearly marking in the memo Youth Scholarship (4090.300). If you use online giving, scan the QR code for the Quick Links to make a one-time or recurring gift using debit cards, credit cards, or eChecks (ACH).
Gifts can be placed in the weekly stewardship collection at all weekend Masses through the end of May or dropped off at the parish office using the after-hours drop box at the carport entrance. Father Anthony will send acknowledgements for any gifts received for this program.
If you have questions, please contact Tina Boehm, Finance and Resource Coordinator, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at 812-357-6050 or tinab@myparishfamily.church.
Each year, youth in our parish, generally aimed at children ages 5 and older, have the opportunity to engage in a variety of programs around Indiana, the country and abroad.
For more information about programs and activities or to connect with others making plans, contact Jessica Fischer, Evangelization and Discipleship Coordinator.
Dear young people, please, don’t be observers of life, but get involved. Jesus did not remain an observer, but he immersed himself. Don’t be observers, but immerse yourself in the reality of life, as Jesus did.
- Pope Francis
St. Boniface Parish and St. Meinrad Parish exist to nurture an intentional faith-filled Catholic Community that inspires and empowers all people to follow Jesus Christ. We will continue to "Keep our eyes fixed on Jesus" (Hebrews 12:2) by living the Word of God, celebrating the sacraments with meaningful worship, and calling one another to prayer, Christian service, and fellowship rooted in the living tradition of a rich German-Catholic heritage.
