The annual appeal for the Education of Future Priest helps provide for the significant financial resources needed for the education and formation of our future priests preparing to serve the people of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. At this point in time, we are blessed with 25 men studying for the priesthood: ten at Bishop Simon Brute College Seminary and thirteen at Saint Meinrad School of Theology. We hope to add 4 to 6 men to this number for next year. The average cost per student for educational expenses is $40,000 per year.
While in seminary formation, each candidate for the priesthood engages in four dimensions of seminary formation: human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral as he prepares for a life of ministry and service within our archdiocese.
Join our brothers and sisters throughout the Archdiocese of Indianapolis on Sunday, June 5, 2022, by supporting the annual appeal for the Education of Future Archdiocesan Priests. Please offer your prayerful and financial support of this annual appeal.
