'Tis the Season to Adopt-a-Christmas Tree
An invitation to individuals, households, family friends, and parish organizations to sign up to decorate one of five groups of various sizes trees, that will be in the nave and narthex of the historic church.

Each group that decorates a grouping of trees has a budget of $85, anticipated in the $1,000 budget line item for Christmas Decorations.
After the Christmas season, theme decorations will be donated to local long-term care centers to be used by the center’s activity director for enjoyment of the residents.
At the suggestion of those who have been in these initial conversations, the thematic trees will be assembled by volunteers and available for decoration from noon Friday, December 20, through noon Monday, December 23
St. Meinrad Parish will continue its Christmas decorating traditions, with the addition of the Tree of Remembrance. I am most thankful to those who set up, decorate, and care for the flowers throughout the Christmas season, which ends on February 2.If you had not had an opportunity to decorate at St. Boniface due to schedule conflicts, hopefully this window of time for decorating the new trees will offer you that chance. Thanks to the volunteers who have agreed to continue to decorate the sanctuaries with seasonal appointments and featured parish treasures and set up the creches.
